Brett D. Watson
Brett D. Watson is the President of Koch Equity Development (“KED”), an acquisition and investment subsidiary of Koch Industries. KED manages a diverse investment portfolio via its Principal Investments division and is responsible for corporate development activity across Koch Industries.
Prior to his existing role, Brett led KED’s Principal Investment team as its Senior Managing Director and oversaw the deployment of more than $20 billion of control, joint-control, and preferred equity investments.
In addition to Getty Images, Brett currently serves on the boards of directors of the parent companies of Infor, Hexagon AB, Transaction Network Services, Globus Group, MI Windows and Doors, and the Flint Group. Brett formerly served on the boards of directors of ADT Inc. and Solera Holdings Inc.
Prior to the decision to join Koch in 2010, Brett spent nearly a decade in investment banking, principal investment, and private equity. Brett earned both his B.S. and M.B.A. degrees from Binghamton University.
Brett resides in Wichita with his wife and three children.
